Founded in 1999 by Executive Director Elizabeth Hester, the Wilmington School of Ballet and Creative Arts is dedicated to serving our community through the art of dance. We strive to inspire the love of dance by providing exceptional instruction in a caring and nurturing environment. The Wilmington School of Ballet and Creative Arts Center is committed to developing self-esteem, imagination and creativity in young people. We believe that no child should be denied the opportunity to experience dance due to financial limitations. Scholarship, educational outreach, and school performances are integral parts of our program.

In addition to our highly acclaimed Creative Movement and Classical Ballet programs, we offer Modern and Jazz. Students will enjoy exploring the world of Broadway style dancing and performance, perfecting their technical skills in a non-competitive environment. Costumes, dances, and music will be tastefully selected and families need not worry that their children will be dressed in age-inappropriate attire during performances. Current students are invited to expand their dance curriculum to include these classes. Of course, new students are always welcome in all programs at the Wilmington School of Ballet and Creative Arts Center! |
